Core Values
The Potter’s House of Sparta declares six core values as the biblical
priorities for all ministries run within the church.
In humility and honor, we …
PREACH BOLDLY... proclaiming the truth of God clearly and practically
Neh 8:8 They read from the book, from the law of God, translating to give the sense so that they understood the reading.
WORSHIP AUTHENTICALLY... celebrating the person of God passionately and completely
Jn 4:24 “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” NASU
PRAY DEPENDENTLY... approaching the presence of God fervently and expectantly
1 John 5:14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
WITNESS COURAGEOUSLY... sharing the gospel of God wisely and respectfully
1 Pt 3:15 but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;
GATHER PURPOSEFULLY... engaging the people of God transparently and hopefully
Heb 10:19-25 “…let us draw near … let us hold fast … let us consider how to stir one another up”
PLANT STRATEGICALLY... building the church of God locally and internationally
Acts 14:21-23 “Preached the gospel to that city … strengthened souls … appointed elders … prayed”
